We have finally released the solution to adding scheel-mann's The Klima heated/cooled seats into your Tacoma using our new Klima mounting plate . The new design is specifically designed for KLIMA seats and now includes an integrated storage box and two cube-style accessory switch holes.
NOTE: these switch holes are for the Toyota 22.2mm cube switches. These switch holes are NOT designed for the seat heat/cool switches. Those need to be more centrally located and closer to the operator.

Installation Essentials
Universal mounting brackets and sliders from scheel-mann are typically required for most applications. But for the 2nd and 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma these are not necessary as the Tolerance STACK Klima plates replaces these with a very custom solution that retains the load sensors and takes care of the SRS notification while adding storage.
The Adapter Plate
This is the ONLY kit on the market that will seamlessly allow scheel-mann Klima seats to be mounted into the 2nd/3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma AND solve the airbag and occupancy dash light issue. Tolerance STACK solves this by engineering new load-cell positions. This also solves the issue of aftermarket seats sitting too high. This is a vehicle specific, custom-fit bracket, not a universal one-size-fits-all mount.
One of the biggest benefits in redesigning the seat mounting plate is the ability to design the storage right into the moutning plate. This is a huge benefit to going with Klima seats. The other plus is the addition of two late model Toyota "cube" style switch holes for adding all sorts of possible switching options. As a default, in case the switch holes aren't utilized, there will be 3D printed switch blanks installed to keep a clean look.
Structurally, Tolerance STACK keeps the existing Tacoma seat belt mounting point in place without using a sub-par replacement mounting point.
Keeping Toyota’s load-cells in use means all of your Tacoma’s SRS airbag functions work as originally designed by Toyota. This is of course except for the in-seat airbag you remove when upgrading to any aftermarket seat. That specific SRS airbag circuit is remedied with a custom airbag proxy included as part of the kit.
Although scheel-mann seats come with seat heaters and aftermarket harness/switches, Tolerance STACK has an available plug-n-play custom wiring harness and bracket if your 2nd/3rd Gen Tacoma came with factory installed seat heaters and switches allowing you to retain OEM heater switches.

Factory Heated Seats
If your 3rd Gen Tacoma came with factory heated seats and you want to continue using the same in-dash seat heater button controls, there are a few extra items needed to make this happen correctly. These items are included when you select 'yes' for factory heat:
- Custom thermister needs to be installed by scheel-mann (+$100)
- Additional heater harness and bracket needed (+$125)
